Locals can pick up their cups and receive a complimentary beverage. This year’s event is SPEAKEASY themed so get dressed up in your best KC bootleg fair!

The proceeds support their professional pursuits, including participation in NCECA (the national ceramics conference), graduate school applications, personal studio equipment or websites, print media or any number of other professional development expenses. How it works: The residents make a special collection of pieces for sale. You may be seeing this work in progress right now. Within that collection, a limited number have the special price of $25! (That’s amazing, yes, we know!) that can be purchased at one of three opportunities: Member’s Preview, Online Shop, and LIVE event at First Friday. By making a purchase, you get to do two amazing things at once: collect art and support young artists! And that makes you awesome!

5 out of 5 starsIs this my new favorite mug I will never drink out of ? Yes.. yes it is. The color and detail of this mug can’t even be captured accurately in a photo it’s that incredible. Kate is a clay goddess. Her fingers do magical things with clay and probably lots of other things as well.. I feel so fortunate to share my home with this beauty! Thank you Kate! I look forward to getting more beautiful things from you in the future.

The mug itself is STUNNING! My friend fell in love instantly and will be a cherished piece in her large ceramics collection!

5 out of 5 starsA work of art. Every detail is so beautiful and realistic. You can see how much time was spent on creating succulent. Mug feels sturdy but not too heavy and is about 20 oz. This is a piece you can proudly display out on your shelf.
